To inhabit is to live together. To live together with people, fundamentally, but also with objects and with the environment of the space that surrounds us. And we are talking about interior and exterior spaces, decorative or functional objects and products and, of course, affective ones.

There are always many questions when approaching a commission: What formal and conceptual relationship is established when designing a place for personal or family life, for leisure, for work? What dynamics are at play? What epic is created in this dialogue and how do we arrive at the right language for the client and the users? How can we contribute, in addition to aesthetics, awareness of sustainability and responsible consumption? What is taste and how can we go beyond trends? How much does the culture of the territory influence when creating that experience of the habitat, retail, catering or hotel/hospitality sector?
Within the framework of the From Spain with Design exhibition, open until April 7 at the Design Center / Matadero Madrid, we call on professionals from leading studios with a wide and varied portfolio of work to share with us their way of thinking and doing. Alongside them, we will count on renowned companies that are committed to the value of design and increasingly understand that the discipline must take a global and transversal view.
