Descripción: Set de 4 lámparas colgantes de Tailandia, Colombia, Chile y Ghana, elaboradas con botellas de PET y fibras vegetales teñidas y tejidas a mano por artesanos de cada país con materia prima local. El set está unido a un único florón que, al igual que el resto de componentes han sido fabricados en España, diseñados a medida y ensamblados en ACdO. "La elección del bambú para esta colección supone un duro trabajo físico para los artesanos, y es una expresión viva de su destreza y precisión. Para construir la estructura, el bambú se tiñe y se corta en finas tiras, que luego tres artesanos diferentes tejen cuidadosamente junto con las tiras de plástico. Aquí los artesanos utilizan un molde para tejer las lámparas y dar forma a la estructura, que luego decoran con motivos hexagonales y florales." / Description: Set of 4 hanging lamps from Thailand, Colombia, Chile and Ghana, made with PET bottles and vegetable fibers dyed and hand-woven by artisans from each country with local raw materials. The set is attached to a single rosette that, like the rest of the components, has been manufactured in Spain, custom designed and assembled in ACdO. "The choice of bamboo for this collection involves hard physical work for the artisans, and is a living expression of their skill and precision. To build the structure, bamboo is dyed and cut into thin strips, which are then carefully woven together with the plastic strips by three different artisans. Here the artisans use a mold to weave the lamps and shape the structure, which they then decorate with hexagonal and floral motifs.
