Being Human

Descripción: El artículo de portada de National Geographic de abril de 2017 trataba sobre lo que nos hizo humanos y lo que nos espera. Esto quedó perfectamente condensado en el titular "Más allá de lo humano". Los humanos desarrollaron rasgos para adaptarse y evolucionar en diferentes entornos y situaciones, convirtiéndonos en lo que somos. Un tema verdaderamente interesante pero difícil de ilustrar ya quecno hay fotografías. Para explicar estos rasgos singulares, se creó un conjunto de pictogramas que funcionan junto con las ilustraciones del talentoso Owen Freeman. Encargado y arte dirigido por Jason Treat para la revista National Geographic. El sistema de pictogramas se basa en antiguos glifos geométricos donde la figura humana y otros elementos se reducen a lo esencial. To explain these singular traits, they commissioned me to create a set of pictograms, that will work along with the illustrations by talented Owen Freeman. The pictograms system draws from ancient geometric glyphs where human figure and other elements are reduced to the essential.
